在钢丝绳结构、直径相同的情况下,随着钢丝绳抗拉强度级别的提高,钢丝绳小破断拉力随之提升,安全系数随之增大。一方面在小破断拉力相同情况下,高强度较低强度钢丝绳直径要减小,同时可以提高曳引轮直径与钢丝绳直径之比,有利于提高钢丝绳的耐疲劳性能,延长钢丝绳使用寿命;或者可以减小曳引轮直径,而钢丝绳单位长度质星随着直径的减小而下降,可以降低钢丝绳的使用量,节约钢材。另一方面,随着小机房或无机房电梯的兴起,众多电梯公司都选择采用小直径电梯绳作为曳引主绳的设计,适应小巧的曳引系统以尽量节省空间。《电梯制造与安装安全规范》中允许小直径为8mm,直径10mm曳引钢丝绳已成为电梯设计的主流,采用直径更小的8mm曳引钢丝绳的比例也在逐年增加。

  提高曳引轮绳槽表面硬度的方法在技术上是可行的,随着建筑技术的不断发展,对电梯的运行速度要求越来越高,为了保证运行安全,要保证曳引钢丝绳有足够的强度。提高钢丝绳强度的办法有多种,如淘汰强度级别较低的曳引钢丝绳,代之以高强度钢丝绳,如1960/2160、1770/1960MPa等。还可以改进钢丝绳的制造工艺,如可以使用钢帘线用盘条来制造钢丝绳,可以大大提高钢丝绳的强度。这是因为钢帘线用盘条采用的是特别的冶炼技术,其所用钢材中杂质含量较低,无明显中心偏析、表面脱碳等缺陷,仅含有A、D两类杂质,且后者<0.5级,呈塑 形且尺寸在0.5pum以下,用这种钢材加工出来的帘线钢盘条具有材质纯净、极 限压缩率较高、化学成分波动小以及力学性能均匀等诸多优点。因此可以说,钢帘线用盘条是制造拽引钢丝绳的理想材料。
